Calculator inputs stay in your browser

All mortgage calculations on this site run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Any numbers you enter into a calculator -- loan amount, income, credit score, down payment, or anything else -- are never transmitted to our servers, never stored in a database, and never shared with third parties. When you close the page or browser tab, the inputs are gone. We have no record of them.

Google Analytics

VisualMortgage uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. Analytics collects aggregate, anonymized information about page views, session duration, geographic region (at the country or city level), browser type, and device type. This information helps us understand which content is useful and where to focus improvement efforts. Google Analytics does not collect personally identifiable information, and we do not use it to identify individual users.

Google AdSense

VisualMortgage displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. AdSense uses cookies and device identifiers to serve ads based on your prior web browsing activity across sites that use Google services. This is standard behavior for Google-served advertising. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ad Settings. We do not have access to or control over the data Google collects for ad personalization.

Cookies

VisualMortgage itself does not set first-party cookies. Google Analytics and Google AdSense set their own cookies as described above. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how ads are displayed but will not affect calculator functionality.

Contact and communication

If you contact us through the contact form, your name and email address are used only to respond to your message. We do not add you to any mailing list, share your contact information with third parties, or retain it beyond the purpose of responding to your inquiry.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected in the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
